The poor maid...

So I get home after working on a 13 hour shift... and I totally forgot that the maid was coming in today. It's funny that I'm surprised or even slightly distraught, but you have to understand the condition that I left my room in this morning.

The sheer randomness of objects that were strewn about my room would have probably made any lesser man/woman immediately get lost within the confines of my walls, like something out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (The scene where they all are moving down a hallway and it's getting smaller).

To be fair, I haven't really had more than an hour a day in my room over the past few weeks, but still! Noone should have to put up with seeing the mess that was in there, let alone attempt to clean it up. Nonetheless! Lucia did a fantastic job of organizing my books, external hard drives, photography gear, video games, bag of stale chips, manuals, magazines, clothes, towels, bedspreads, laundry, shoes, volleyballs, and everything else that I forgot but is now neatly tidied up.

So Lucia, if you're reading this... Thank you, I'm sorry, and you're awesome !
